EVERYTHiNG

church was great tonight! we had some old fashioned gospel singing. it was mostly the choir singing, but of course anyone in the congregation who knew the words sang along. It's amazing that no matter the type of music, contemporary or traditional, God can still be found in it. oh, how we forget that. It's not about whether the church sings contemporary praise songs or traditional hymns, they are words written to bring us into worship for our Lord. it's the words that we offer up as praise, not the melody or tune of the song. if only the church as a whole could figure that out and praise him no matter what the style of music! it's NOT about us, nothing in worship is about us! it's ALL about Him!
i found out tonight that i have 2 more months sponsored! I'm up to 7 months, plus the possibility of a few more! it's so amazing to see God working to make this come together. a little over a month has passed since i got back from nicaragua, and God has already supplied more than half of the support i need...in spite of who i am, he still wants to use me. it's so beyond me!
today is one of those days where i feel like the flood gates could open at any moment and i'll start crying, just b/c i feel so overwhelmed by God's grace and his sufficiency in my life. He is truly all i need.
